The Institute of Education at Faculty of Educational and Social Research (FESAR) is a postgraduate education school at UCL. It is one of UCL’s 11 constituent faculties. Courses offered
The Faculty of Education and Society offers professional training in school management, education, leisure, and sport. It has one of the largest teacher training programs in Sweden and offers four-year undergraduate degrees in teaching and sports science. Students can choose from a variety of courses, including freestanding courses, continuing professional development, and contract education. Research clusters
The Faculty of Education and Society is home to several Research Clusters in Social Justice, including Ethnic Studies, Race, and Equity. While the department has been a leader in the field for decades, it has not yet fully integrated the philosophical insights of black thinkers. The Ethnic Studies cluster aims to do just that: create a space for black re-imaginings. This initiative also features eight endowed chairs devoted to equity.
Minor requirements
The Faculty of Education and Society requires students to fulfill certain minor requirements to complete their undergraduate degree. These requirements can be found on the UBC Academic Calendar. In order to complete the minor, students must complete a total of 4.0 credits. They must also meet the program requirements.
